Hi there! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) serving California virtually. Some of my areas of expertise include; anxiety symptoms, self-esteem, life-changes, grief and loss, women’s issues, and parenting issues. I work holistically, meaning that I take into consideration many aspects of your wellbeing.

Counseling Services for anxiety, self-esteem, and life-changes

My approach is insight building, attachment-focused, and collaborative. Together we will take inventory of where you currently are in life, explore your understanding of yourself and your relationships, collaborate to create goals, shine a light on limiting beliefs and identify new ways of seeing yourself and the world. Some of the treatment modalities I use are: art therapy, CBT, narrative therapy, existential therapy, and mindfulness.

  • At this time I am offering individual therapy sessions virtually to residents of California.

Some of my areas of expertise involve:

    • Anxiety

    • Self-esteem

    • Young adults

    • Women’s issues

    • Post-partum anxiety

    • Life transitions

    • Grief and bereavement

    • Infertility

    • Trauma

    • Parenting

  • When combined with talk therapy, art therapy assists individuals in managing intense emotions, fostering self-awareness and self-worth, and decreasing stress and anxiety. Art therapy can be therapeutic for those who may have difficulty verbalizing thoughts and feeling, or have not had ideal results with traditional talk therapy. Utilizing the art making process allows for greater access to the emotional center of the brain and can assist with gaining deeper insight and clarity. No art experience is needed, and minimal art supplies are needed.

  • I am currently contracted to accept the following insurances:

    • Cigna

    • Blue Shield of California

    • United Healthcare

    • Oxford

    • Aetna

My self pay rate is $150.

  • Effective January 01, 2022, based on the “No Surprises Act,” you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are opting to not use their insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate when visiting a health care provider, you may visit: www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
